The Chiltern Dog School began 20+ years ago with a small class of 10/15 people. Now there are 6 classes a week and an increasing demand for one to ones.

Our method sounds simple but it’s effective and it’s based on encouraging you to train through PLAY.

What we are and what we do

• We’re a family friendly, yet highly professional and qualified team who give owners the confidence to relax with their dogs and importantly to give them the techniques to keep the interest of their dogs and remain in control.
• Our owners range from 8 to 80 years plus.
• We work in classes, playgroups for puppies and also one to one training.
• We also have considerable experience working with dogs with behavioural problems.
• We train outdoors because this is where owners want confidence to control or work their dogs. The Cow Roast provides a large area in a beautiful setting well away from the road and is conveniently situated between Berkhamsted and Tring and neighbouring villages.
